Is IP إلى اسم المضيف the same as reverse DNS?

Yes. The lookup converts an عنوان IP into the PTR hostname published in the reverse-DNS zone.

Why is the hostname generic?

ISPs often generate names from the address or region instead of publishing a customer or device name.

Can a hostname reveal a company?

Sometimes it contains an ISP, cloud or service brand, but it should be treated as network context rather than proof of ownership.

Why does the hostname not resolve back?
