Clear network information for everyone
WhatIsMyIP.live helps people understand the address and network information exposed when they browse the web. The platform combines simple explanations with practical IP, DNS, RDAP, proxy and browser diagnostic tools.
How our data is produced
Results may combine Regional Internet Registry allocation data, authoritative RDAP responses, live DNS resolution, local public-domain ASN snapshots and clearly labelled historical records. Each tool explains its source and limitations instead of presenting estimates as certainty.
Designed for speed and privacy
Lookups are rate limited, cached and performed server-side with strict timeouts. We avoid collecting more data than a tool needs, and ordinary homepage visits are not permanently added to the historical IP database.
Editorial and correction policy
Educational guides are reviewed by the WhatIsMyIP.live Editorial Team and display their update date. Visitors can use the contact page to report an inaccurate network record, broken tool or outdated explanation for review.
Accuracy matters
IP location data is approximate. It may identify a city, region or internet provider, but it should not be used to identify a person or claim an exact physical address.
