HOW FEDERATION WORKS
Evidence moves; authority does not
The protocol shares signed, structured conclusions. Remote nodes cannot execute actions, access accounts or publish allegations directly.
Enrol a node
Staff records a known HTTPS origin and Ed25519 public key.
Prove key control
The operator signs a one-time challenge before activation.
Verify envelopes
Timestamp, nonce, signature, size and schema are checked before storage.
Require quorum
Public consensus needs at least three nodes and two independent operators.
Publish safely
Only aggregate scores and evidence commitments become public.

Federation without surrendering control
V13.0 treats remote observations as evidence, never unquestionable facts.
Every accepted envelope has a verified Ed25519 signature.
Short clock windows and one-time nonces stop replay.
Raw evidence, personal data and free-form allegations are rejected.
A single operator cannot create public network consensus.
Batch size, payload size, age and subject types are bounded.
Federation has no authority to execute agent actions.
