If you want to change your router settings, for example: Wifi name, password and other network related settings.
STEP 1: To configure the router or change settings, you need to log into router admin panel accessing this URL: http://192.168.1.1
STEP 2: If you have received an error, make sure that 192.168.l.l is not the IP address because it's a common misstype. Try again with correct 192.168.1.1 IP address

First of all, you would need to make sure that your router is properly connected your computer, PC pr laptop via ethernet cable or WiFi connection. Make sure your router device is powered on and WiFi lights are green.
